Forum for Local Action on Energy Efficient Behaviour, in short Energy Behaviour Forum, is an initiative financed by the European Commission. The Forum advances energy efficient behavioural practices and supports local and regional authorities in integrating behavioural insights into the implementation of energy efficiency interventions. It covers all 27 member states.
The Energy Behaviour Forum enables to pool efforts on behavioural measures at the local or regional scale and to encourage the adoption of best practices across Europe. It is an educational, inspiring and interactive knowledge-sharing platform for the local actors with the aim to share information, experiences on concrete projects, guidance and education to boost the uptake of energy efficient behaviour.
The website has been developed by a competent consortium led by VITO Flemish Institute for Technological Research and its partners: Energy Saving Trust (UK), Energy Cities network, Motiva Services Oy (Finland), the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), DNV (the Netherlands), Oeko-Institute (Germany), the Austrian Energy Agency (AEA) (Austria), ADENE ─ Portuguese Energy Agency (Portugal), the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources & Energy Saving (CRES) (Greece), Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)(the Netherlands), the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) (Slovakia) and RWS Language Services.
