The first cohort of the In-Depth Training strand of the Forum’s Capacity Building Programme has been in full swing during the Autumn 2025. If you didn’t have the chance to apply this Autumn for the first In-depth training, you still can next year, when there will be another cohort.
The Forum connects local and regional authorities across Europe to apply behavioural insights in energy efficiency, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the spread of best practices to create stronger, citizen-focused initiatives.
The Capacity Building Programme empowers authorities and stakeholders to tackle the challenges of promoting energy-efficient behaviour by providing the skills and tools to design impactful, lasting projects.
This training will boost your knowledge of energy efficiency and behavioural change, sharpening your expertise while giving you the chance to make and shake your own pilot project. You’ll get to discuss and develop it with peers and other experts through five engaging modules, helping you become a true “energy efficiency milkshake” expert!

- Introduction webinar: Meet your learning group and get to know the course
- Practical masterclass: Kick off your energy efficiency milkshake creation
- Peer-learning session: Present and discuss your pilot project
- In-person retreat: Work with your group to enhance your project and enjoy inspiring site visits
- Final peer-learning session: Share your progress and the final shake with experts and participants
All online activities run on Teams with interactive tools such as Miro. Participants also receive access to an online learning platform for assignments and networking.
